HAPPY 61ST INDEPENDENCE JAMAICA
Email: info@Jifinyc.org | (917) 885-5181
We are strong advocates for women’s rights and equality. We partner with other like-minded organizations and individuals to help stop the abuse on women by speaking out. We host women races and organize symposia on topics like domestic violence. Our goal is to help women in crisis through referrals to social services.
This foundation was formed and created to celebrate the annual Jamaica Independence activities in the Northeast region of the United States and to raise funds to donate to causes that our foundation is most passionate about, namely women in crisis situations, advocating for women, underserved communities and amateur youth athletes.
We aspire to be a positive force in the lives of people near and in Jamaica. JIFNYC's mission is to support philanthropic organizations and communities here in the U.S. and Jamaica that address issues related to women in crisis situations, underserved communities, advocating for women and good mental health and amateur athletes from Jamaica playing sports in the U.S. , and abroad. JIFINYC fundraises on behalf of a diverse array of public charities dedicated to the betterment of our diaspora at home and abroad as well as our global community.
