JAMAICA 62nd  INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION WAS AMAZING THANKS TO YOU, OUR LOYAL SUPPORTERS AND CONTRIBUTORS! 

1962-2025!  63 years of hard work,  achievements,  greatness and excelling notably in education,  sports, music, medicine, tourism, agriculture, international affairs, and fashion.  

This year JIFI~NYC has an array of activities planned starting April through December 2025 to celebrate the 63rd Anniversary of Jamaica's Independence.

    The Right Honorable, Mr. Edward Philip George Seaga ON, PC .  He was the fifth Prime Minister of Jamaica, from 1980 to 1989, and the leader of the Jamaica Labour Party from 1974 to 2005. He served as leader of the opposition from 1974 to 1980, and again from 1989 until January 2005.
